<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile radio terminal of a TDMA system in which even weak interference wave power can be accurately measured, and a method of measuring interference wave power in a TDMA system. <P>SOLUTION: A timing estimation means 109 estimates a frame timing of interference wave reception, based on reception signal information obtained from a variable gain amplifier 104 and a DSP 106. For example, the timing estimation means 109 monitors reception power of at least one time slot within a time of a predetermined frame and when it is detected that at least one time slot is in a non-transmission phase, that non-transmission phase is estimated as a frame timing with the same time slot as the one time slot in a fixed frame term from the frame.
