PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable continuous operation by cutting a plate-like member if within the capability range of a machine, without folding out the plate-like member to be cut. SOLUTION: This plate-like member cutter includes: a fixed cutter 24; a moving cutter 23 reciprocally movably provided corresponding to the fixed cutter; and a cutter driving means for reciprocally driving the movable cutter 23. The movable cutter 23 is provided to be rocked by a hinge part 21, and energized by a spring 27 so that the knife edge is pressed to the fixed cutter 24, and provided with a stopper 40 for regulating the movement of the movable cutter 23 so that the movable blade 23 does not have a clearance to the fixed cutter larger than the thickness of the plate-like member W to be cut.
