<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for an optical imaging device with a small amount of vibration as a method for performing optical scan preferably linear optical scan of an imaging object. <P>SOLUTION: An optical imaging device is equipped with a light source system (20), an illumination optical path (3) set at least by an illumination lens system (4) and an observation optical path (11) set at least by an observation lens system (12). An illumination visual field diaphragm (2) can be focused on this illumination imaging face by the illumination lens system (4). In this case, the illumination lens system (4) and the observation lens system (12) are mutually separated lens systems. In this optical imaging device, a single mirror body (14) for reflecting light is disposed on the illumination optical path (3) and the observation optical path (11).
