<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading method for an organizer having a punched hole group imparted with code information, and a reader therefor. <P>SOLUTION: This method acquires digital image data of the organizer to be converted into punched hole coordinate data indicating XY-coordinates of each punched hole, finds a shift amount from a lattice-like intersection, acquires punched hole shift data, generates a distribution density of the punched hole shift data, finds a fundamental threshold value from the distribution density, divides the fundamental threshold value into the first threshold value and the second threshold value, converts the punched hole coordinate data and the punched hole shift data into binary data, using the fundamental threshold value, generates signal dissipation binary data from the binary data sandwiched by the first threshold value and the second threshold value, generates binary data with the corrected signal dissipation binary data, judges the propriety of correctness of the corrected binary data, and reads the corrected binary data generated as the code information, when the corrected binary data is correct. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
