摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tritium monitor having high measurement sensitivity by having a small consumption amount of a carrier gas, dispensing with exchange working and drainage treatment of an adsorbent and simplifying maintenance working. SOLUTION: The tritium monitor comprises using a highly pure nitrogen gas as a carrier gas, being discharged in the carrier gas by selectively separating steam in a sample gas 100 with a steam separator 6, interrupting the carrier gas from radon, tron, its daughter nuclide or the other gaseous radioactive substance since the carrier gas containing the discharged water vapor is introduced into a measuring ionization chamber 16 to find tritium concentration from the ionized amount. In addition, the carrier gas is dehumidified with a carrier gas dehumidifier 18 to be reproduced, so that the carrier gas of a leaked part automatically fills, and further an evaporator 29 for evaporating drain produced in a sample gas compressor 7 in exhaustion of the sample gas is provided.
