PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier tape for chip mounting which includes counting marks on one side, can allow the counting marks to have a function to count closely-spaced packaging, and can increase the number of package units arranged on the tape while reducing wasted part of the tape. SOLUTION: The carrier tape for chip mounting comprises one main body 21 of the tape; a plurality of package units 22 which are arranged on the main body 21 of the tape in regular pitches and have one fixed first pitch L1; and a plurality of counting marks 23 which are arranged at least on one side of the main body 21 of the tape in regular pitches located outside the package units 22, and have one fixed second pitch L2. The first pitch L1 is a positive integer times as long as the second pitch L2. The length of the second pitch L2 is between 0.50 mm and 3.97 mm or about. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
