PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermosensitive recording medium excellent in high-speed erasability enabling to deal with a thermal head re-writing.

SOLUTION: In the reversible thermosensitive recording medium, which can form a color developed state and a decolorized state due to the differences between heating temperatures and/or cooling speeds by employing an electron donative colorable compound and an electron acceptive compound on a support, a first under layer containing hollow particles and a second under layer containing highly thermally conductive inorganic particles are set to be laminated in the order named between the support and a recording layer.
