<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide adeno-associated virus (AAV) materials and methods which are useful for DNA delivery to cells, more particularly, to provide recombinant AAV (rAAV) genomes, to provide methods for packaging rAAV genomes, to provide stable cell lines producing rAAV, and to provide methods for delivering genes of interests to cells utilizing the rAAV. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a DNA vector comprising a recombinant adeno-associated virus genome and DNA sequences encoding adeno-associated rep/cap proteins, wherein the recombinant adeno-associated virus genome comprises adeno-associated virus inverted terminal repeats neighboring non-adeno-associated virus DNA sequences operably linked to promoter and polyadenylation sequences and wherein the DNA sequences encoding rep/cap proteins are located outside the genome. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
