DATA STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR CREATING A COMPUTER SOFTWARE DOCUMENTATION

The invention concerns a data structure accessible to a computer software documentation generating assistant (50). Said structure comprises identifiers of a document section and identifiers of an element for modelling a development model (36) compatible with a formalism for modelling objects, for example, UML. The data structure further comprises identifiers of processing operation and of mappings of various identifiers. The invention also concerns a method for generating a documentation, which consists in searching for (E20) the structure corresponding to the desired documentation (E10). Operations for recovering data, identified in said structure are carried out (E40) for each of the sections. The modelling elements provide arguments for said operations. Thus, it is possible to construct automatically a documentation by aggregation of different elements found (E30) in the development model and corresponding to the data structure.
