PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient cooling device capable of reducing energy consumption. SOLUTION: The cooling device 1 is equipped with a compressor 2, a heat radiator 3A, a refrigerating cycle circuit 10 including an expansion valve 4 and an evaporator 5, a cooling container 20 for storing a cooling object, and a hot water storage tank 31 for storing hot water. The cooling device is structured so that the cooling object inside the cooling container 20 is cooled by heat absorption of the evaporator 5, water is boiled by radiated heat of the heat radiator 3A and stored in the hot water storage tank 31, and the hot water in the hot water storage tank 31 can be supplied to the cooling container 20.
