<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding machine for performing a printing on a sheet with a size larger than a final size by an image formation device and automatically trimming a sheet rim according to the size of the sheet printed by the bookbinding machine to finish the sheet into a predetermined size, and an image formation system using the bookbinding machine. <P>SOLUTION: The image formation device for forming an image on a print sheet, and the bookbinding machine S for filing the sheets printed by the image formation device and trimming the rims for alignment are provided. The image formation device automatically selects a print sheet with a size larger than a reference size which is either a sheet size for image data or a specified final size to form a margin along the rims, and forms the image.
