<p>A method for analysis on the risk of tumor formation, the method comprising the steps of: (a) determining the amount of each of at least two indicator genes selected from cell proliferation-promoting genes, cell proliferation-inhibiting genes, apoptosis-promoting genes, apoptosis-inhibiting genes, cell differentiation-promoting genes and cell differentiation-inhibiting genes, expressed in a tissue of interest collected from a non-tumorous part in a subject; (b) determining the amount of a housekeeping gene expressed in the tissue; (c) collecting the determination value for the amount of each of the indicator genes given in the step (a) with the determination value for the amount of the housekeeping gene given in the step (b) and employing the collected value as a tumor formation index for each of the indicator genes; (d) evaluating the tumor formation index for each of the indicator genes given in the step (c) by comparing it to a predetermined standard value; and (e) combining two or more results from the evaluation for each of the indicator genes given in the step (d).</p> |
