<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device or the like which enables the observation of a tissue distributed in the entire surface of a three-dimensional object such as cronaria without being deviated from the surface of the object. <P>SOLUTION: Extraction data corresponding to an object to be diagnozed based on a volume data relating to a prescribed area of a specimen containing the object to be diagnozed (for example, heart). The direction and degree of movement are designated for an MPR image in which at least a part of the surface of the object to be diagnozed is visualized to move it along the surface of the object to be diagnozed with an operating part. An image is generated and displayed as acquired by moving the MPR image along the surface of the object to be diagnozed using the direction and degree of movement designated, the extraction data and the volume data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
