PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition which little forms unpolymerized layers on a surface in an oxygen-existing environment without an oxygen-blocking material, and can stably be stored even in a refrigerator. SOLUTION: This curable composition comprises (A) 100 parts by mass of a radically polymerizable monomer, preferably a (meth)acrylic radically polymerizable monomer having a water absorbing capacity of not larger than 20% by weight, (B) 0.5 to 10 parts by mass of water, (C) 0.1 to 20 parts by mass of an anionic surfactant, preferably an alkyl sulfate, an alkyl benzene sulfonate, or an alkylsulfonate, (D) 0.1 to 10 parts by mass of a nonionic surfactant, and an effective amount of a polymerization initiator.
