<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bipolar plate, a unit cell and a fuel cell system equipped with it, capable of effectively exhausting carbon monoxide and water each produced at an anode electrode and a cathode electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The bipolar plate 14 has a flow channel formed at its either face for fluid to be communicated, with one face put under a hydrophobic treatment and the other face put under a hydrophilic treatment. In such a structure, hydrogen-containing fuel can be easily moved to a gas diffusion layer of the anode electrode, and water can be easily moved from the cathode electrode to the other face of the bipolar plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
