The invention relates to fireproof glazing. The inventive glazing panels comprise the complex assembly of glass sheets and intumescent layers, such as hydrated alkaline silicates. The glazing panels are produced such as to have high fire performance ratings, while total thickness is maintained within acceptable limits and production is carried out under economically-sustainable conditions. For said purpose, the thickness of the intumescent layers must be between 1.4 and 2 mm. In addition, the thickness of the glass sheets must also meet various different requirements depending on the number of sheets used in the structure. |
