PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor that can withstand a thrust force, in the motor equipped with a resin-made insulator. SOLUTION: In this motor 1, a boss 14a is hardly deformed since a metal sleeve 20 is fixed to the boss 14a of the insulator 14 and a shaft 8, and the resin-made boss 14a is reinforced by the metal sleeve 20 even if the strong thrust force is developed at the shaft 8 and the motor 1 is used in a state that the boss 14a of the insulator 14 repeatedly collides with a bearing 9. In such a way, even if the motor having a constitution enhanced in electrical insulation between an iron core 5 and an electric wire W by the insulator 14 is used in a nailing machine and a deceleration mechanism, the motor can withstand the strong thrust force, thus making the wire hardly broken.
