<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle motor controller which judges the degradation of component parts based on the degradation criterion value set in accordance with the judgement whether the parts are degraded in performance as an automobile system or not; quickly detects whether the parts are degraded in performance even not in the state of failure; and executes self-diagnosis, notifies and alarms to prompt improvement, thereby avoiding this state. <P>SOLUTION: In the on-vehicle motor controller comprising a power converter and a motor control unit, the motor control unit includes a control arithmetic part, an abnormal detecting means for detecting abnormality in that the controller cannot satisfy its minimum function as the motor controller, a degradation judging means for judging the degradation of the component parts of the on-vehicle motor controller based on a predetermined degradation criterion value, and a self-diagnosis part for executing self-diagnosis of the abnormality of the component parts constituting the on-vehicle motor controller and the state that an automobile assembled with the on-vehicle motor controller cannot maintain the operation within a predetermined performance range based on the abnormality detecting means and the degradation judging means, transmitting degradation abnormality state information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
