A plasma display device and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent a damage of a data driver IC by reducing a noise by adjusting rising and falling times of a data pulse, which is applied on an address electrode during an address period. A plasma display device includes a PDP(Plasma Display Panel,700), a data driver(702), and a data pulse controller(701). The PDP includes plural address electrodes. The data driver drives the address electrodes. The data pulse controller controls the data driver, so that at least one of a voltage rising time and a voltage falling time of a data pulse is longer than 100ns during an address period. The data pulse controller adjusts the voltage rising time of the data pulse, which is applied on at least one group of plural address electrode groups, so that the voltage rising time is different from those of the other address electrode groups. Alternatively, the data pulse controller adjusts the voltage falling time of the data pulse, so that the voltage falling time is different from those of the other address electrode groups.
