<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound system for seat speakers capable of providing an optimal sound environment to a listener, considering a difference in height or sitting height of the listener. <P>SOLUTION: This sound system 1 concerns a sound system 1 for seat speakers wherein speakers 5, 6 for outputting sound signals near the ear positions of the listener (A) seated on a seat 4 are set in the seat 4. The sound system 1 has a recording means 11 for recording a plurality of head-related transfer functions for the listener seated on the seat 4 making them correspond to the ear position of the listener, a height detection means 8 for finding the height of the ear position of the listener (A) seated on the seat 4, an extraction means 12 for extracting a head-related transfer function corresponding to the ear position of the listener (A) from among the plurality of head-related transfer functions, and a sound processing means 7 for synthesizing the extracted head-related transfer function with sound signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
