PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-processing device which takes out content in response to a display request from the outside and adequately displays the content on a display part.

SOLUTION: A content display method receives a display request including a resource identifier by means of an internal application 133 which is built in an image-processing device 139 and transmits the resource identifier to the Web browser 131 of the image processing device 139. Connection to the resource identified by the resource identifier is made, and content is taken out from the resource. Then, the content thus taken out is displayed by the display part 130 of the image processing device 139 by using the Web browser 131.
