PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire simultaneously improved in high speed turning performance and bead part durability, while maintaining rim protective performance. SOLUTION: In this tire, rim protectors 400 projecting to the tire outside rather than at least one outside surface 301 of a side wall 300 are continuously formed in the tire circumferential direction from the bead part 200 in the direction of a tread 100 on the outside surface 301. Each of the rim protectors 400 has a first top part 402 projecting most to the tire outside from the outside surface 301 via a first middle portion 401 and a second top part 404 projecting in a level difference state from the first top part 402 via a second middle portion 403 in a cross-sectional shape in the direction of the tread 100 from the bead part 200. The second middle portion 403 is extended to the tire inside of a virtual line X for connecting a vertex P of the first top part 402 and a tread side end point E of a virtual circular arc L of the outside surface 301 of the side wall 300 formed with the rim protectors 400.
