<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device capable of providing a recorded image of high print quality when it is used as an exposure device with no complex structure as the entire device. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device comprises a light emitting element array 11 in which light emitting element blocks C consisting of 2×N pieces of light emitting elements T are arranged in a plurality of arrays, and (N+1) in total number of control signal transmission paths G.
