The method involves dissolving printed waste paper (AP) in a rotary dissolving drum (1) in which a non-rotating displacement body (2) is provided. The rotary dissolving drum is arranged such that a waste paper between an outer surface and the inner surface of the rotary dissolving drum is processed by shearing force. Dissolved waste paper pulps (S1-S5) are cleaned from disturbing impurities, where the printing inks are removed from flotation plants (9, 9') after the dissolution in the rotary dissolving drum without dispersion of the waste paper pulps.
