PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertically laying roof structure effective in preventing oozing water by a capillary phenomenon by strongly, surely and inexpensively fixing a roof material in a short period by adopting fitting of a cap. SOLUTION: The roof material has a pair of side edges on both sides of a trough part. These side edges are formed of a rising part, an extension part obliquely outwardly extending from the tip of the rising part and an upper rising part formed as a locking part by folding back the tip to the inner lower side by rising from the tip of the extension part. A suspender has a pair of rising pieces on both sides of an installation part, and these rising pieces form a locking part superposed on the locking part arranged on the side edges of the roof material in an upper part. The cap has a pair of side edges on both sides of the trough part, and these side edges are formed of a rising part, an extension part obliquely outwardly extending from the tip of the rising part and an upper rising part formed as a fitting part fitted to the locking part arranged in the roof material and the suspender by folding back the tip to the inner lower side by rising from the tip of the extension part.
