PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and highly accurately form light intercepting parts that intercept noise light and transmit regular projection light, without disposing an optical recording medium, such as an adhesive photosensitive resin layer, on a lens sheet in a manufacturing method for a transmission type screen. SOLUTION: While a lenticular lens sheet 4 having a cylindrical lens 4a and a substrate sheet 4b is conveyed in a fixed direction, illuminating light 8a is emitted from the cylindrical lens 4a side. In a fixed position on the back of the substrate sheet 4b, the illuminating light 8a condensed by a line reading section 9 is received. Thereby, an information acquiring step, in which information for forming BSs is acquired, is performed. Also, a light intercepting part formation step is performed such that, based on the acquired information, light interceptive toner 15 is disposed on the back of the lenticular lens sheet 4. Thus, a series of BSs are formed on the lenticular lens sheet 4 in the direction of conveyance of the lenticular lens sheet 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
