PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for feeding filters designed to simultaneously handle the filters of different lengths and improve multi-purpose properties. SOLUTION: The apparatus for feeding the filters to a filter tip attachment machine is equipped with a hopper (5) arranged on a plurality of drums (11). Each drum can be rotated around the substantially horizontal axis (12) and provided peripherally with a plurality of sucking flutes (13) in the axial direction. The filters are taken up from the hopper with the flutes one by one and advanced to a transportation station (15). In the transportation station, the flutes are arranged in positions of axial alignment with the inlet of a pneumatic type feed duct along which the filters (2) are fed to a user machine. The apparatus is provided with a means (16) for dividing the hopper into at least two parts (17) and each means serves at least drum (1). COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
