摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starting method of a fuel cell power generation system capable of restraining micro degradation of an oxidant electrode which can be problematic in a long-period operation, by correcting potential gradients of the oxidant electrode within a cell surface generated when started up. <P>SOLUTION: In a power generation starting operation, after beginning supply of reformed gas to a fuel electrode with supply of air stopped to the oxidant electrode, an electric control device 3 is put in a current source mode, and a direct current equivalent to a load current is made to flow from the oxidant electrode to the fuel electrode through an outside circuit (S301 to S303). After a unit cell voltage with the fuel electrode as reference reaches a load operation starting voltage Vo, the electric control device 3 is switched to a load operation mode (S305) at a point of elapsing for a predetermined retention time Th1 (YES of S304), and at the same time, air is supplied to the oxidant electrode (S306), a load current is increased until a load current density reaches Ir (S307, S308) to complete the starting operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
