PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual body passage monitor using a directional electric wave, avoiding inconvenience of a conventional device, e.g. passage of a non-permitted person in time of simultaneous entry, the passage of the non-permitted person when a door normally opens, detection of a signal of even a passage body outside an area desired to be detected when a range of a passage path is broad, or difficulty of recognition (decision of permission/non-permission) of an individual body by only a monitoring camera. SOLUTION: This individual body passage monitor has: a directional individual body recognition code transmitter/receiver capable of transmitting/receiving only a recognition code of a monitoring target body present in the monitoring target area; a permission/non-permission distinction device distinguishing whether the monitoring target body is previously permitted and registered or not; an individual body detection sensor distinguishing whether or not the monitoring target body is nearly simultaneously present on the monitoring target area, or/and detecting the number of the monitoring target bodies present on the monitoring target area; and a controller performing distinction output for controlling output equipment of an alarm or the like.
