FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves recording pulsogram of body region under study. Systolic and diastolic arterial blood pressure is calculated from the following original formulas: ADsys=a x A, where ADsys is the systolic arterial blood pressure in mm of mercury column, a is the empirical pulse meter transducer coefficient obtained from control measurement made with tonometer in mm of mercury column; A is the pulse wave amplitude in absolute numbers; ADdy=(ADsys/ebeta), where ADdy is the diastolic arterial blood pressure in mm of mercury column; e is constant equal to 2.718271; beta is the HBR2/(ADsys x 100), where HBR is the heart beat rate in strokes per 1 min; HBR=(t x upsilon) x 60/t, where t is the measurement time in s; upsilon is the pulse wave frequency in 1/s or s-1. ^ EFFECT: immediate measurement of arterial blood pressure and pulse. ^ 14 dwg |
