An apparatus for guiding a movement of a transducer of an ultrasonic probe is provided to acquire a correct image of an object and move a transducer smoothly by constraining a friction when the transducer reciprocates. An apparatus for guiding a movement of a transducer of an ultrasonic probe includes a main body, a transducer(10), a couple of guide rails(22), a guide groove(24), and a maintaining unit. The transducer(10) is movably installed on the inside of the main body, and converts an ultrasonic signal and an electric signal into each other. The couple of guide rails(22) are installed to be opposite to both ends of the transducer(10) at a predetermined distance. The guide groove(24) is formed on a side plane of the guide rails(22) to guide a movement of the transducer(10), and has a side wall and a lower wall. The bearing(16) is installed on both ends of the transducer(10). The bearing(16) is installed in the guide groove(16) and is contacted with the lower wall of the guide groove(24). The maintaining unit maintains a distance between both ends of the transducer(10) and a side plane of the guide rails(22).
