PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope in which an imaging unit is not easily affected by the heat generation of an LED unit and a sufficient current can be made to flow to the LED unit. SOLUTION: In the endoscope provided with the LED unit 10 as a light emitting part and the imaging unit 15 for turning observation images to electric signals in a distal end part main body 3, an air pipeline 17 is provided between the LED unit 10 and the imaging unit 15 and a unit for sending air into the air pipeline 17 is connected.
