The invention concerns a dual-needle bed circular knitting machine, comprising: two fixed cylinders (2, 3), each bearing a needle bed (4, 5), supporting each a set of needles (6, 7), and comprising a mechanism for individually selecting all the needles (6, 7) of each needle bed (4, 5); two sets of at least one rotating machine feed (12, 13), each set being dedicated to one of the needle beds (4, 5), being able to move relative to said needle bed to select and move the needles (6, 7); at least one device for feeding yarn to the needles. The invention is characterized in that: at least one of the two sets of rotating machine feeds (12) is capable of moving relative to the corresponding cylinder along two directions of rotation (F<SUB>2</SUB>), so as to allow the two sets of machine feeds to move alternately in the same direction or in opposite directions; the yarn feeding devices have a displacement capacity different from the movements of the machine feeds. |
