A parking support unit for a vehicle side mirror is provided to allow for ease of parking of a vehicle, by using the parking support unit as a reference for a parking line. A parking support unit for a vehicle side mirror, comprises a solenoid(10) operating by power supplied from an external source; a piston(20) which is arranged at an end of the solenoid, has a surface with a rack gear(30), and protruded outwardly when the solenoid operates; and an indicator arranged on a lower portion of a front surface o the vehicle side mirror, and vertically positioned on the surface of the vehicle side mirror by the protruding operation of the piston. The indicator includes a pinion gear(40) engaged with the rack gear of the piston; and a connection rod having one end connected to a central shaft of the pinion gear and the other end connected to an end of the indicator.
