<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order processing apparatus capable of checking order processing time for processing an order concerned with image data, especially an order for writing image data to a recording medium, and an order processing method. <P>SOLUTION: The order processing apparatus is provided with: at least a reading means 13 for reading image data from a digital camera or a medium; an order processing time calculation means 14 for calculating the order processing time of the read image data or selected image data; a display control means 15 for displaying a screen or the like for selecting desired image data from the read image data on a display means 3; and a printing control means 16 for making a receipt printer 7 print out a receipt in which at least order specification information and the order processing time are recorded when the order processing time is approved.
