<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum heat insulating material with excellent heat insulating performance using a laminated body of a short glass fiber web for a core material. <P>SOLUTION: Short glass fiber constructing the laminated body is low brittleness and high fiber strength short fiber which does not fracture easily even if stress is applied due to compression of the core material 2 by atmospheric air after vacuum wrapping by an outer coating material 3, protects a shape of the core material 2 against atmospheric pressure with a fewer number of contact points to reduce a number of heat conduction routes in a thickness direction while keeping a gap of the core material 2. When operation quickly releasing compression after compressing the laminated body to 1,013 hPa is repeated, thickness of the laminated body when compression strength gets to 300 hPa at a time of first compression is defined as reference thickness, and ratio of compression strength when the thickness of the laminated body is the reference thickness at a time of second compression and 300 hPa is 0.65 or greater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
