In Conventional music delivery systems, the user can select a musical composition which the user likes according to the results of analysis of the feature and tone of the musical compositions so as to obtain the musical composition. However, in the systems, musical compositions are listed and only the list is presented, and what tones the musical the musical compositions have is not shown. In view of the above problem, a content reproducing system comprising a server device for transmitting symbol image information and content identification information associated with the symbol image information to a client device, and the client device for outputting the received symbol image information and selecting a content to be reproduced according to the outputted symbol image information is proposed. With this, a symbol image corresponding to the musical tone and substance of the content without requiring the user to preform special operation is displayed. |
