FIELD: municipal service. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes rotary drum type screen having unit for tearing bags and other containers with waste materials; slipping hopper for removing screened fractions; outgoing conveyers. Drum type screen is made of sections. Said sections at inlet are hexahedral in the form of latticed planes with cells 10 mm; in mean part sections are octahedral with cells 20 - 150 mm and at outlet sections are cylindrical. Apparatus is also provided with slipping hoppers for discharging screened fraction onto outgoing conveyer arranged under each screening section. Unit for tearing bags is arranged at inlet of hexahedral section. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of processing waste materials. ^ 2 dwg
