<p>A method of controlling the operation of an air conditioner is provided to hinder the bad smell from being directly discharged to a user by operating the air flow of an indoor fan at lowest speed for predetermined time with opening a flap. In an air conditioner of which automatic air flow is set, a method of controlling the operation of the air conditioner comprises a step(S34) of opening a flap and stopping a drive of an indoor fan during the fan operation off time, after operating the air conditioner; a step(S38) of operating the indoor fan at lowest airflow while operating the air conditioner at gentle airflow, after the fan operation off time; and a step(S39) of operating the indoor fan at determined automatic airflow after the gentle airflow operation time. The fan operation off time is set 40 seconds. The gentle airflow operation time is set 10 seconds.</p> |
