PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress variation in dimensions caused by heat shrinkage of a cylindrical conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer, and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of forming an excellent image. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is manufactured, in which an amorphous silicon based photosensitive layer 16 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical conductive substrate 14, wherein the amorphous silicon based photosensitive layer 16 is also formed on an inner face of the cylindrical conductive substrate 14 as well as on the outer peripheral surface. The amorphous silicon based photosensitive layer 16 is further formed on portions with which flanges for fixing the electrophotographic photoreceptor contact. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
