A front substrate structure of a plasma display panel and a plasma display panel having the same are provided to enhance stability of a front substrate by disposing a film between two substrates. A front substrate structure includes a first front substrate(111) displaying an image, a second front substrate(112) disposed at rear of the first front substrate, and a film(113) interposed between the first front substrate and the second front substrate for closely contacting the first and second substrates. The first front substrate and the second front substrate have a glass. The film is made of poly vinyl butyrate. The film contains a light absorbing material for color compensation.
