<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas separation technique for separating a city gas into the gas of a high methane number and the gas of a low methane number. <P>SOLUTION: Valves V1, V2, V5 and V6 are operated so as to supply the city gas by the high pressure of 0.5 MPa for instance or the low pressure of 0.1 MPa for instance to the entrance ports 19 and 20 of first and second absorption tanks 11 and 12 filled with active carbon, and valves V3, V4, V7 and V8 are operated so as to catch the first gas of the high methane number flowing out from the absorption tank supplied with the city gas of the high pressure in a first catching tank 13 and to catch the second gas of the low methane number flowing out from the absorption tank supplied with the city gas of the low pressure in a second catching tank 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
