<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety system for securing the safety of workers without increasing a working station area when improving productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The system shows a monitoring area 53 right before high-speed movement of a robot 20, expands the monitoring area 53 to a return direction Y, and checks non existence of obstacles in the monitoring area 53. It shows the monitoring area 53 during high-speed movement, checks no existence of obstacles in the monitoring area 53, and then performs high-speed movement in the return direction Y.
