An optical pipe dustproof structure of a projection TV is provided to improve durability and image quality by separating an optical pipe from a mechanical dustproof space to endure heat and light emitted from a lamp and improve the performance of an optical system by protecting the optical pipe from impurity such as dust. A lamp emits light. An ultraviolet filter blocks an ultraviolet included in the light. An optical pipe(200) converts the light passing through the ultraviolet filter at certain amplitude. A plurality of optical components converts the converted light at certain amplification. A mechanical airtight space separates a plurality of the optical components from impurity such as dust. The optical pipe(200) includes a body part and front and rear boards(210,220). Upper, lower, left, and right mirrors(201-204) whose internal sides are formed as reflective surfaces are mutually combined to form the body part. The front and rear boards(210,220) are combined to opening parts of a front side and a rear side of the body part to tightly cover an internal part of the body part.
