PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake resistant damper which can easily enhance the earthquake resistance of a wooden skeleton of a wooden house etc., and an earthquake resistant structure of the wooden skeleton, where the earthquake resistant damper is mounted. SOLUTION: The earthquake resistant damper 1 for enhancing the earthquake resistance of the wooden skeleton 40 is mounted in such a manner that a sill 41 and a first column 42 are connected to the wooden skeleton 40 which is provided with the sill 41 and the first column 42 perpendicularly assembled to the sill 41. The damper 1 comprises: a rod-shaped damper body part 10 which is composed of lead; mounting parts 20 and 20 which are provided at both the ends of the body part 10 and mounted on the wooden skeleton 40; and an anti-buckling pipe 31 which is externally mounted on the body part 10 so as to prevent the buckling of the body part 10.
