MICROFLUID DEVICE AND ITS JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a microfluid element by facilitating the coupling of the microfluid element with a liquid sending system or a liquid draining system. SOLUTION: This microfluid device 1 has the microfluid element 10 constituted so that the liquids different in kind supplied from at least two supply ports are guided to a microflow channel and the mixing or chemical reaction of the liquids is performed in the microflow channel to obtain a desired liquid from the discharge port provided on the downstream side of the microflow channel, the liquid sending system 20 for sending the liquids different in kind to the respective supply ports of the microfluid element and the liquid draining system 30 for receiving the desired liquid from the discharge port of the microfluid channel. Joints 60 comprising an elastic member are provided to the respective supply ports and the discharge port and the outer surfaces of the leading end parts of the respective joints 60 have two wedge-shaped inclined surfaces and the oval flat surface for connecting both inclined surfaces while wedge-shaped spaces of which the leading ends are provided along the oval flat surface are provided in the respective joints 60. The liquid sending system and the liquid draining system are equipped with the liquid sending pipe and the liquid draining pipe which are inserted in the wedge-shaped space of the respective joints and of which the leading ends are protruded toward the respective supply ports and the discharge port from the oval flat surface.
