摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a growth degree measuring device capable of diagnosing a growth of a plant over the whole growing period of the plant. <P>SOLUTION: This growth degree measuring device 1 for measuring optically the growth degree of the plant includes the first photo-receiving part 11A for dispersing spectrally the sunlight reflected by the plant to be received, and for measuring light intensities of two kinds or more of specified wavelengths, the second photo-receiving part 11B for dispersing the sunlight into lights having the wavelengths same to those of the first light receiving part, and for measuring light intensities thereof, and a computing part 20 for finding a reflectance of the plant based on the light intensities measured by the second photo-receiving part, and the light intensities measured by the first photo-receiving part, and for finding a growth index using the reflectance, and the computing part calculates a square root of a quadratic sum of the reflectance as the growth index.
