A support device for a preform of a PET bottle is provided to simplify the structure of the support device according as the support ring part of the preform is directly placed and supported. A support device for a preform(P) of a PET bottle is composed of a base block having a power transmitting unit and a holder connection unit; a circular pipe-shaped holder(200) where a lower aperture is fixed at the holder connection unit of the base block; and a holder sleeve(400) made of an insulating material and mounted at the upper aperture of the holder to support a support ring part(Pa) of the preform to block the heat transfer between the holder and the preform. The holder sleeve comprises an insertion unit inserted at the upper aperture of the holder, and a fixing protrusion(420) where the support ring part of the preform is placed and supported.
