PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recombinant animal having variation in SDHC gene, capable of investing diseases resulting from reactive oxygen series (ROS) derived from mitochondria in mammal. SOLUTION: In the recombinant non-human mammal or its part, a variant SDHC gene derived from mammal is introduced and reactive oxygen series (ROS) is excessively produced and decrease of body weight is exhibited after maturation period and abnormal vision, muscular abnormity and emotional behavior abnormity are exhibited.
