PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external facing material holder for scaffold work, capable of shortening a construction period, and capable of reducing construction cost, by improving efficiency in installation work of an external facing material (a siding board). SOLUTION: This external facing material holder 10 for the scaffold work is detachably installed in a construction scaffold composed of at least two pipe materials 11a and 11b horizontally arranged in substantially parallel along the periphery of a building, and has a holding part 20 for holding a plurality of external facing materials 19 in a resting state against an upper structure.
